The “City of Morganton Bethel Park Restroom Facilities” project contract documents may be obtained from the City of Morganton website at https://www.morgantonnc.gov/rfps Contract documents may be examined at the City Hall, Development and Design Services Department, 305 East Union Street, Suite A100, Morganton, NC 28655.
This project is being let as an informal bid, No Bid Bond will be required. The project involves building the new 17’5” X 30’ +/- restroom facility building, with a footprint of approximately 1329 SF +/-, sidewalk installation, asphalt pavement overlay and other site improvements. Also included are two alternate bids, one for driveway improvements and another for additional parking lot improvements.
A pre-bid meeting is to be held at the site located at 600 Bethel Rd., Morganton, NC 28655 at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 17, 2026 to review the site and verify location of the new building and answer any questions concerning the bid work. Please review the bid proposal, and plans which provide details and information on the project, prior to attending the pre-bid meeting. Please direct question to Sam King P.E., City Engineer, prior to the pre-bid meeting so that answer may be gathered and presented as part of the meeting agenda.
Bids must be received prior to 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday April 14, 2026. The submissions shall be submitted prior to that date, at any time during our normal business hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday thru Friday to the Development and Design Services Department.
