Public Works

The Public Works Department is dedicated to maintaining and improving the quality of life in the City of Morganton. The Department will maintain a superior infrastructure and manage our natural resources with pride, respect and integrity.

Public Works is comprised of 7 divisions (Administration, Street, Sanitation, Cemetery & Grounds, Warehouse, Equipment Services and Facilities Maintenance). Each division plays a vital role in supporting the City’s commitment to excellence in public service and infrastructure management.
