Morganton Housing Authority

The Morganton housing authority was created in 1964 and is recognized as the public body organized for the purpose of providing safe and sanitary dwelling accommodations for the low-income persons in the City of Morganton.

The Morganton Housing Authority generally meets at noon the first Wednesday of the month in City Hall.

Authority members are appointed by the Mayor and serve five-year terms.
