The City of Morganton Electric Services Department manages the city-owned electric utility. The Electric Services Department maintains the city's existing electric lines, builds new lines, upgrades systems, advances employee training, and provides quick and efficient response to service calls. The Electric Services Department is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
