How to Report a Power Outage

In order to report a power outage, customers should call (828) 438-5277. Customers will be able to relay information about the outage they are experiencing, and our Electric Services crews will respond as quickly and safely as possible to restore power to any affected customers.

There is no way to report a power outage online, and submitting information about power outages on our social media pages does not notify our Electric Services department of your outage.

The City does post updates about current power outages on our Facebook and Twitter pages. To get the most up-to-date information about an outage, please visit our social media pages.
