NCMPA1 Lighting Rebate Program

The ElectriCities NCMPA1 Lighting Rebate Program is available to commercial and industrial customers in the City of Morganton and other member cities of North Carolina Municipal Power Agency Number 1 (NCMPA1). The rebate is funded by ElectriCities as a credit to the City's wholesale power bill. The City then passes that credit onto the customer.

IMPORTANT! Commercial/Industrial electric customers in Morganton who are interested in applying for a rebate must contact the City of Morganton Electric Department and start the application process before purchasing any new lighting or equipment.

Funding is limited, and the rebate only applies to approved lighting. Customers who apply for the rebate must agree to the terms and conditions of the program and inspections completed by City Electric Department staff.

Lighting salesmen have no authority to promise any automatic rebates to prospective customers.
