The City of Morganton has partnered with Tyler Technologies to create an online customer portal where residents can access account information as well as pay a bill. Customers can view information such as billing history, usage history and meter reading history for their electric and water accounts. Information about property tax will also be added in the near future.
Morganton, NC Municipal Online Payments Portal: New User Registration
Step 1: Go to the Payment Portal
Step 2: Click Sign In / Register (top right).
Step 3: Click Create an account (bottom).
Step 4:
Provide your email, first and last names, and create a password (8+ characters with 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, and 1 number). Click Sign up to finish.
Step 5:
Enter the 6-digit verification code emailed to you from Community Access Identity, then click Verify.
Step 6:
Optional: Click Set up next to your preferred security method to add extra account protection.
Step 7:
Click Continue to complete registration.
Adding your Utility Billing Account to your Profile
Step 1.
When signed in, select Utility Billing under Available Services (right).
Step 2:
Click Add Account under the Accounts section.
Step 3:
Enter your Account Number (include all dashes) and Last Payment Amount. Click Add account to finish.
