Temporary power outage planned due to upgrades

City of Morganton electric customers on Jamestown Road from Sheetz to the BP gas station near Interstate 40 will experience a short power outage early next Tuesday morning (4/15/25) at 1 AM.

This is due to upgrades being made to the substation on Carbon City Road. The outage will only last approximately one minute. Thank you for your understanding as we make these upgrades.
