A special flag display has been installed at Morganton City Hall to launch a year-long series of displays celebrating the nation's 250th anniversary, which recognize the historic milestone of the United States' founding. The display serves as a sampling of more than 20 flags from Robert Patton’s collection, which highlight American pride and encourage participation in the various commemorative shows, educational programs, and patriotic events scheduled throughout the year to honor the nation's history and heritage.
