Event Scheduling
No more than two events can occur per month on public roadways. The events cannot occur on the same day.
The Parks and Recreation Department also hosts run/walks at various parks including Catawba Meadows Park and the Morganton Greenway System. Visit the Parks and Recreation Department page for more information.
Time Allotted
5K - Roads can be blocked no more than 1.5 hours (90 minutes) - 29 minute/mile pace; 10K - Roads can be blocked no more than 2.5 hours (90 minutes) - 24.1 minute/mile pace
Marking Courses
Do not use paint or colored markers on roadways/sidewalks/pavement. Courses may be marked with temporary signs stuck in the ground.
