Fire Destroys Camper

On 06/15/2024, at 0353, Morganton Department of Public Safety responded to 715 Carbon City Rd. in reference to a working fire. Units arrived on scene and observed a camper sitting on this property that was fully involved with fire. The occupant of the camper at the time was Sammi Pollard, 49, of Morganton. Units extinguished the fire and had a control time. No injuries were reported during the fire and the fire is still under investigation.
