UPDATE: The splash pad at MLK Park is not currently turned on due to drought restrictions in our area.
Martin Luther King Jr. Park was originally constructed by the City of Morganton in 1987, but underwent extensive renovations and reopened with state-of-the-art playground equipment and amenities in 2019. The park has a walking track, a splash pad, a gravity rail, a mega-tower, ADA compliant equipment and so much more.
