Downtown Development Association

The Morganton Downtown Development Association (a.k.a. DDA), originated in 1985 as a membership based organization for local merchants and business owners in Downtown Morganton, NC.

The DDA advocates for and unites the business community, conveys business interests to policy-makers and advances the downtown economic health. To carry out this mission, the DDA serves as the voice of business and involves the public sector in community leadership. The DDA works in close partnership with the City of Morganton Main Street Office, which oversees the economic growth of the 38-blocks of the downtown district.
