The Parks and Recreation Department also operates two public pools. The Morganton Aquatic Center is open year round, and the Collett Street Outdoor Pool is open during the summer.

While we continue to follow indoor COVID-19 restrictions, the pool is not functioning as a "recreational" pool. Use is limited to lap swimmers and aerobic exercising for adults.

The Collett Street Pool is opening for the season on May 29, 2021.
The Collett Street Pool usually opens around Memorial Day and closes the day after Labor Day. The pool offers plenty of room for recreational swimming, a diving well, and a wading pool!
