Concessions Worker – Recreation: This position handles operations and activities of a concession stand, including customer service, food preparation, cashiering, stocking, cleaning, set-up and break down after events. Position requires an individual to have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and ability to accurately make change and process cash transactions, reliability, and food preparation. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to deal courteously with the public, even under busy and stressful conditions.
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees. Basic math ability to accurately count and handle money. Basic food preparation. Ability to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently. Completion of elementary school. Experience in serving meals to large groups of people. Ability to lift and carry thirty pounds’ dead weight repeatedly. Ability to bend, stoop, and perform cleaning tasks within building. Ability to communicate with customers.
Must be able to work nights and weekends.
Environment: Exposed to an indoor environment.
