Ghost tours around downtown Morganton will unveil the haunted history of the area. During the Halloween season, join the spooky adventures of Morganton’s Ghost Tour. The 1.5 hour-long tour tells of strange sightings, folklore, and local history dating back more than 500 years. The Morganton Ghost Tour was developed by paranormal expert Joshua P. Warren, who documented unsettling events and bizarre history. The mile and a half walk through downtown Morganton is designed to get participants in the Halloween Spirit.
The tours are scheduled for October 19th, 20th, 26th and 27th with tours beginning at 6:30pm, 7:00pm, 7:30pm, 8:00pm, 8:30pm and 9:00pm. Tickets are $5.00, and available in limited quantities. Tickets may be purchased at the Main Street Office, located next to The Kitchen Connection, at 112B West Union Street. Tickets will also be available for purchase each night of the event beginning at 6:00pm.
The Ghost Tour will begin at the Historic Burke County Courthouse next to the Sen. Sam Ervin statue. Be sure to dress warmly and comfortably, as these tours occur after dark.
