The Cable Television Commission was created to make all decisions concerning programming to be provided by the CoMPAS, the municipal cable television system, and to confer with and consider requests from citizens and community groups concerning service. The Commission is generally advisory in nature.
Meetings: The Commission generally meets quarterly on the second Thursday in March, June, September, and December, or on an as needed basis. The Commission is required to call an organizational meeting in August of each calendar year at which time the commission shall organize itself and elect from its members a chairman and a secretary who shall serve for a one year term or until successors in office are appointed. CTC meetings are open to the public.
The Cable Television Commission consists of nine members appointed for three-year terms except the Student Government appointee who serves for a term of one-year.
